IELTS Exam Preparation Course
The International English Language Testing System is recognised by academic institutions worldwide. Study for the Ielts exam on a dedicated exam preparation course, focused on Ielts preparation. If you need a formal qualification in English, an Ielts exam may be ideal. The Ielts preparation course is focused on developing the skills needed for the Ielts exams. This includes English reading, writing, speaking and listening, with an emphasis on British or international English. You will use a wide range of materials to develop the language skill set required for the exam. Throughout the course your teacher will monitor your progress, and there will be tests and mock exams. You will also be required to do a lot of extra work outside of the class. Your teacher will give you homework and suggest various ways of working on the language, for example, reading books, newspapers and magazines as well as watching TV and listening to the radio. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate stating the course studied and your final language level.
Toefl (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
The Toefl class will provide you with the practice in all the language skills tested on the Toefl IBT (Internet-based test). Not only will you become familiar with the test format but you will also learn the strategies necessary to tackle each task. Skill-building exercises will help you improve your academic reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course will also prepare you for the integrated skills tasks. You will learn how to synthesize and effectively convey information from the reading and listening material in speaking and writing. Throughout the course your teacher will monitor your progress, and there will be tests and mock exams. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate stating the course studied and your final language level.
Test DaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache)
The Test DaF is an advanced-level language exam. It covers levels B2 to C1 on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The certificate issued upon successful completion of all four sections of the Test DaF exam at Test DaF level 4 will act as evidence of the language skills needed to gain admission to almost any subject and degree course at universities and institutions of higher education in Germany. The Test DaF language exam also provides internationally recognized evidence that your knowledge of German is sufficient to complete scientific projects and enter academic professions. No specialist knowledge is required to take the exam. The Test DaF exam can only be taken at licensed test centers. Currently there are around 450 test centers that offer the exam. On DaF (Online- Einstufungstest Deutsch als Fremdsprache). The On DaF is a standardized online placement test for learners of German as a foreign language who would like to assess their German language knowledge. The onDaF can provide learners with rapid and precise feedback about their general language skills. This feedback can support learners in preparing for the TestDaF or the DSH.
